DAVID BARTON

David Barton is our nation’s premier historian, groundbreaking author, radio show host, highly sought after speaker, Supreme Court case consultant and the Founder of WallBuilders, a national pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our moral, religious and constitutional heritage. David Barton is one of the most heavily endorsed historians, known up to the highest levels of government. His presentations have an electrifying and profound effect on audiences, providing them with an understanding of our nation’s history no longer taught in our public school systems, but one that changes everything about how they feel about our country and the pride they have in its founding and beginnings. Hearing David Barton speak unveils the wonder of how God’s hand was on this country from the start, which is why there’s been intense attack against it. There are those in our country who wish to rewrite America’s history, but David’s impressive collection of authentic, historical documents reveal this nation’s astonishing and incredible founding story.
In his esteemed career, he has authored a multitude of best-selling books on subjects drawn largely from his one-of-a-kind, expansive library of original writings from the Founding Era. Barton has collected 100,000 documents from before 1812 — original or certified copies of letters, sermons, newspaper articles and official documents of the Founding Fathers, proving that they were deeply religious men who built America on Christian ideas — history not being taught in school.
David and his research team have exhaustively analyzed and researched these documents, rendering him our foremost expert in historical and constitutional issues, and he serves as a consultant to state and federal legislators. Mr. Barton has participated in innumerable cases at the US Supreme Court, was involved in the development of the History/Social Studies standards for states such as Texas and California, and has helped produce history textbooks now used in schools across the nation. He served as Vice Chairman of the Texas Republican Party from 1997 to 2006.

David and his wife Cheryl reside in Aledo, Texas, they have three grown, married children (Damaris, Timothy, and Stephen), and five grandchildren.
