The attacks won’t stop, though we may wish they would. It’s tiring honestly to be unfairly and unmercifully pestered by those who want American Christians to move out of the way, even in our own public square. But we won’t move and can’t in good conscience move aside. So how do we respond when the legal system is used against us, when media is twisted against us, and when our own livelihood is affected? Wonderful pastors, we’ve been talking about this amongst the four of us at some length this week as we’ve actually been watching a particular situation unfold….watching what sure looked like a questionable strike against a Christian working in a government position. And he was removed. Unsettling. He is one of many. Men and women of faith who are targeted for trouble. They might be fired, or discredited, treated unfairly or made fun of…..the strategies are honed and effective. But we thought we’d give you our very best thinking for Godly, powerful response.
