America’s 250th Year:
The Secret of Our Strength
Our nation has been enduring protests, street mobs, and civil unrest in some cities, just off the rails at times. The news cycle endlessly grinds it in until we are tired of constant darkness. It pulls you in to the drama and colors life, that is until you shake it off and decide to think primarily on what is good and positive in our nation. And that is a lot, a whole whole lot.
This has always been our secret strength; to, yes, acknowledge the evil that pulls at our God-led nation, and yet determine to refocus our thoughts, our will toward God. The Church in America has always led the way here, leading our people to boldly praise Him for all the freedom we have, the liberty, the prosperity, and the beauty of life in this nation whose existence was shaped by Scriptural precepts.
We are in the crosshairs of those who would destroy our nation’s Christian heritage through unrest, coercion, protest. But the secret of our strength has always been to uphold the good, the fine, the true.
This year we celebrate 250 years of freedom, determined to preserve the Republic that put us squarely under God in whom we trust. We have a secret strength because of that trust. It is stronger than our enemies whether they be without or within.
In this letter to you, Kielle, Joan, Chad, and Brad explain this strength by pointing to aspects of it about which you may not know. Please be encouraged.
